Why is the DUTCH test so much better than a blood hormone test?
DUTCH gives us a detailed picture of the the hormone metabolites that are created in the body. Unlike serum blood testing, DUTCH tests show us not only the hormones such as estrogen or testosterone, but the metabolites that come from these hormones as well. This is very important as often metabolites that can have the greatest impact on hormonal symptoms. It also shows us adrenal, methylation, and organic acid markers. With DUTCH tests, we see the diurnal pattern of cortisol as well as cortisol metabolites. There is a massive benefit to seeing the metabolized cortisol as well as the free cortisol.

The test is ordered for you and delivered to your home.
It is taken on a specific day depending on the length of your cycle. On the day, you give 4-5 urine samples all from the comfort of your own home over a 24 hours period & and mail your samples back.
